Agallah Finally Ready to Drop His Debut Release

After signing to Tommy Boy at age 17 under the moniker 8-Off the Assassin, you’d expect the Dipset/Purple City affiliate Agallah to have at least released one solo album by now. But no, the super-producer/MC known for dropping underground classics “Ghetto Girls” and “Crookie Monster” has waited years for the perfect opportunity to drop his solo album, You Already Know. The album is being released hot off the heels of his critically acclaimed mixtape release, Propane Piff and other successful releases from his Purple City crew. Appearances on the album range from Nappy Roots, to Kool G Rap and Dead Prez. Production is handled almost exclusively by Agallah himself sans a few heatrocks from Alchemist and DJ Premier.
