Teknological Advancement

In a little less than five years Babygrande has quickly risen to the top of the underground hip hop record label food chain. In their latest power move, Babygrande Records recently announced the signing of one of underground hip hop’s most notoriously dope producers, DJ Hi-Tek. As a Rawkus Records graduate, and one half of the duo Reflection Eternal Hi-Tek has elevated his status to not only an underground hip hop living legend, but a crossover producer extraordinaire. His production resume looks like a veritable who’s who of talent in hip hop today, with beats laced for Busta Rhymes, The Game, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Snoop Dogg and more. His new LP, Hi-Teknology 2 is now slated to be released this fall on Babygrande. The album boasts a pretty impressive lineup of talent rocking over Hi-Tek’s drums including; Nas, Common, Talib Kweli, The Game, Ghostface Killah, Slim Thug, Raekwon, Tha Doggpound, Bun B., Q-Tip, Mos Def & more. Look for the album in October.
