Ludacris and Damon Dash Document "Paper Chase"

Paper Chasers, a documentary focusing on hip-hop entrepreneurs, is slated to make its TV premiere on the Independent Film Channel (IFC) on July 3rd.
The film first premiered at the 2003 Tribeca
Film Festival. It documents a pre-Def Jam Ludacris, months before he released his first album, Incognegro, independently and follows him as he gains success over the following 3 years. The film also features Fat Joe, Master P, Damon Dash, Russell Simmons, Chuck D and Flavor Flav, among many other artists and entrepreneurs.
My goal was to provide an authentic, unglamorous documentation of what is required to take a product or service from the idea stage, through delivery to an audience, Maxie D. Collier, who authored Paper Chasers, said in a statement. It has taken me three very challenging years to complete Paper Chasers and three, even more difficult years, to achieve mass distribution.
Paper Chasers is slated to air July 3rd at 9 p.m. and will be rebroadcast on July 4th at 1 a.m. and 7 p.m.
