Babs of Da Band Pleads Not Guilty To Brooklyn Arrest

Bad Boy recording artist Babs of "Making The Band" fame pleaded not guilty earlier today (June 26th) after being arrested and jailed for allegedly threatening a woman and keying her car in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday (June 24).
The dispute sparked when two women confronted the rapper at her BK residence, accusing her of flirting with the beau of one of the two women at a party the previous evening.
According to Babs' camp, the two women asked Babs to come outside and threatened her family. Babs reportedly stayed in untl the women left.
Word is Babs and two friends later paid a visit to the apartment of the woman who made accusations about her man.
"They all know each other and were having a good time at the party. We didn't think anything of it at the time" Alyse Feldman, Babs' rep, who was present at the party, said in a statement.
"They threatened not only me but my family and anyone that knows me knows I don't play when it comes to my family" Babs said regarding her reasons for confronting the women.
According to Babs' camp, the woman then phoned
the police and claimed she saw a person in a red hat key her car from her 15th floor apartment window.She also told cops Babs threatened her.
Babs was also hit with a restraining order. She now can't come within 100 feet of the woman.
The female emcee is scheduled to appear in front of a Grand Jury on July 2nd.
