GoTV Networks announced the launch of their "Off the Top" mobile hip-hop television show today (December 20). The show will feature artists performing exclusive freestyles and verses from artists like Nelly, Chingy and Talib Kweli.
Hosted by Daylan Williams, "Off The Top" will appear on GoTV's Hip-Hop Official channel - a mobile network which offers exclusive artist interviews, features, reviews and event coverage. The channel is currently available to Cingular subscribers.
"Hip-Hop Official is a prime example of how mobile television is gaining traction as a mainstream entertainment medium," said GoTV Networks' Executive Vice President of Studios Daniel Tibbets via statement. "And we're excited to bring never-seen-before footage from some of hip-hop's most talked about artists to Cingular Video."
Cingular subscribers with Cingular Video capable phones can buy Hip Hop Official for $4.99 per month by selecting Cingular Video from the main menu and then Premium Channels on any 3G handset. It can also be purchased by visiting www.4gotv.com.
