Damon Dash Resurfaces, Brings Music Group To Koch

Damon Dash has partnered with Koch Records for his Damon Dash Music Group.
The label's first release will be the new album by dancehall artist Sizzla. Sizzla's album, entitled The Overstanding, is due this summer.
Koch has also closed deals with former Motown/Universal CEO Kedar Massenburg for his Kedar
Entertainment and Atlanta's Big Oomp. Massenburg has managed or signed such award-winning acts as D'Angelo, Erykah Badu and India.Arie, while Big Oomp has made a name for himself in the world of southern hip-hop. Kedar Entertainment's first release will be a new album by Buffalo native Sansom, while Big Oomp's first release will be the new album by DJ Unk.
"We are all very excited about these deals with such talented partners and are looking forward to long, fruitful and profitable partnerships," said Koch president Bob Frank via a statement.
In addition to their recent signings, Koch Records also serves as label home to
Snoop Dogg, Jim Jones, The Diplomats and D-Block, among others.
