DMX Considering a Name Change

As of late, DMX has been known more for his personal life instead of his recordings. Now, X is thinking of changing his name.“I think I'm going to have to do that soon for spiritual reasons," he told MTV Europe.For those who have followed his career, the spiritual reference should come as no surprise. On each of his albums, DMX always offers a prayer or an inspirational song. The rapper has also spoken about becoming a pastor one day. "It's just the whole Dark Man thing," he adds. "Because if you look at it, from a spiritual point of view, the Bible teaches us that we can speak things into existence. ... And Dark Man, you know, it may not be the best name for me."In other X related news, the Dark Man is also set to star in his very own reality TV show. DMX: Soul of a Man will air is set to air on BET. No premier date has been set as of press time.
