If you’re like me, every Royce Da 5’9” album brings the same reaction: "It’s nice, but it ain’t Boom. Now, if Royce could just get some more Premier tracks on his record…". Well, the wait is almost over. According to mixtapedetroit.com (and reportedly Royce himself, while onstage in Chicago), Royce and DJ Premier are hard at work on Royce’s forthcoming album, produced entirely by the Gangstarr DJ and underground demigod. The two expect an end of the year release for the album that heads all over have been dreaming about for years. And you thought the Christina Aguilera album meant Premier had sold out.
