Prince Paul Gets Crowned At CMJ Showcase

Freddie Foxxx, J-Live and CL Smooth will all be in attendance to celebrate the career of artist and producer Prince Paul at this year's 5th Annual Room Service & Brooklyn Bodega CMJ Showcase.
The showcase, which will take place on October 31 at B.B. King's in New York City, will honor the many contributions that the
hip-hop veteran has made to the culture throughout his 20 plus year career.
In addition to performances by Foxxx and J-Live, Paul's original group Stetsasonic will also be in attendance. The group, which consisted of members Daddy-O, Frukwan, Delite, DBC and Wise, were touted as being the first "
hip hop band" and recorded such hits as "Sally" and "Talking all that Jazz."
The event will also feature many of the
artists that Paul has worked with over the years including AG, The Juggaknots, Dres of Black Sheep and many others.
Other artists that Prince Paul has worked with over the years include De La Soul,
Queen Latifah, Everlast, Dan The Automator, Big Daddy Kane, the Beastie Boys, 3rd Bass, MF Doom, MC Lyte, the Gravediggaz, Method Man and Chris Rock, to name a few.
CMJ's showcase is set to take place on October 31st at B.B. King's in NYC.
