Remy Ma & Ice-T Pitch In During "VH1's Hip-Hop Honors Week"

To help celebrate their upcoming 3rd Annual 'Hip Hop Honors' ceremony, VH1 will hold a 'VH1 Hip Hop Honors Week' prior to the event.
The 'VH1 Hip Hop Honors Week" will include culinary,
educational, cultural, fashion and sports activities, from October 12 to October 17.
The week will kick off with "Education Day" on Thursday (October 12) where famed
hip-hop artists will work with kids in New York City's public schools, and fans can enroll in DJ classes at the world famous Scratch Academy.
The day will end with the opening of No Sleep Til Brooklyn, a 30-year retrospective of
hip-hop culture documenting its humble beginnings in the South Bronx through its glorious rise to global domination.
This will be followed by "Restaurant Day" on Friday (October 13). Restaurants in all five boroughs will feature special discounts and promotions, with Remy Ma serving food at Junior's Times Square.
Saturday (October 14) will be "
Music and Culture Day". New Yorkers will be able to enjoy special events and promotions at City's famed cultural organizations, like Graffiti Basics at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and The Hip Hop Cultural Centre at the Magic Johnson Theatre.
The day will end with the legendary EPMD reuniting for a special one-off performance at NYC's B.B. King Blues Club and Grill.
Sunday (October 15) will be "Sports and Parks Day." Hip-Hop legends will take the field and join the famous NYC sports scene for "Hip Hop Honors Celebrity Hoops". Players will include Chris Brown, Kurtis Blow and Ice T, among others.
It will be followed by Fashion and Shopping Day on Monday (October 16). Jimmy Jazz, New York's leading street wear emporium, will host "VH1's Celebrity Make Me Over Shopping Spree," and a 10% discount will be offered to all customers.
The week will wrap up with "VH1 Hip Hop Honors Day" on Tuesday (October 17), where viewers can watch Ice-T host the 3rd Annual celebration.
The actual event will be take place and be filmed at the famed Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, October 7. The aforementioned broadcast will air at 9 pm ET and 8pm C on Oct 17th.
