G-Unit's Whoo Kid Makes History, Becomes First Rap Act To Perform In India

G-Unit's DJ Whoo Kid is set to make history in India this month when he becomes the first U.S. hip-hop act to perform in the country.
The renowned DJ will give two performances tailored to his Indian audiences on October 19th at Enigma in the newly renamed city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay), and at Elevate in New Delhi on the 21st.
Whoo Kid's sets will be part of
MTV Asia's 'Hip Hop Hustle', a month-long club celebration of the network's 2nd annual Awards show. Hip Hop Hustle's events will also celebrate the scheduled Mobb Deep performance set to take place in India in November.
The two India stops are part of Whoo Kid's 22 city world tour titled POW! Tour, which launched at the beginning of this month. The tour will include stops in Germany, France and Belgium before Whoo Kid meets up with 50 Cent and the G-Unit family for concerts in Finland and Sweden.
Whoo Kid will be handing out over 15,000 mixtapes over the course of his journeys.
As previously reported, Whoo Kid is slated to release his Rewind
DVD Magazine later this year via Koch Entertainment. The DVD will feature appearances from Kanye West, real estate mogul Donald Trump, Mase and Three 6 Mafia.
