Jay-Z Video To Premier
Jay-Z's comeback has the Hip-Hop world anticipating his next move. That move may come this Monday, as the video for "Show Me What You Got" premiers. This will be the first single off Jay's Kingdome Come LP.
Though it was reported that Hype Williams shot the clip, it was actually shot by F. Gary Gray. He has previously worked on vids for OutKast and Ice Cube.
Many, including fans in our Audio section, critiqued Jay's simple rhymes. Jay recently replied to this, by telling MTV it was meant to be simple.
"I didn't want to put too much on it. I didn't want to go super heavy [or] complex with the lyrics. It's almost like this male/female banter. Show me what you got, purdy lady. That was needed. It's basically a fun record," he said.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick make cameo appearences in the video. Jay is also said to show his distaste for Cristal in the clip. As was reported earlier in the year, Hova's been boycotting Cris.
The new album is currently scheduled to drop November 23 with highly anticipated production from The Neptunes, Just Blaze, Kanye West and more
