Sadat X Prepares For New Album and Prison Term

Life does not slow down for the man known as Sadat X. After a year that included the passing of his father, the bankruptcy of his record distributor, the release of his critically acclaimed third LP, and a highly publicized arrest on gun possession, one would expect the Brand Nubian member to take some time off and concentrate on relaxing for a while. Nope. Sadat X is back making waves again with the announcement of his fourth full length release dropping this October titled, Black October. The title stems from the month in which Sadat will begin his year long prison sentence on gun charges. Featuring production from the likes of Diamond D, Da Beatminerz, DJ Spinna, and J-Zone and appearances from Brand Nubian and Greg Nice the album is set to tell the tale of Sadat’s trials and tribulations as well as successes over the last tumultuous year.
