E-40 Delivers The "Hype On Hyphy"

"The Ambassador of the Bay," E-40, is set to drop a DVD about "he hyphy movement later this month.
E-40 & The Hype on Hyphy is being released by BME Recordings/Reprise records. The DVD will explore the
music and dance style created in California's Bay area that is currently spreading across the country.
The DVD includes E-40's videos for "U And Dat" and "Tell Me When To Go," as well as behind-the-scenes looks at the making of both videos. The Hype on Hyphy also delivers an in depth look on the hyphy movement, and features appearances from
Lil Jon, the Federation and B-Legit, among others.
E-40 is known as one of the driving forces behind the hyphy movement.
But as SOHH reported last month, the rapper also known as Fonzarelli was forced to defend himself from claims exploiting the movement.
In related news, E-40 is currently on the "And 1 Mix Tape Tour 2006" promoting his last album My Ghetto Report Card (Sick Wid It/BME Recordings/Reprise Records) which debuted at #1 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts.
E-40 & The Hype On Hyphy hits stores on August 26th.
