New Jay Dilla Album on the Way
Before Hip-Hop suffered the tragic loss of Jay Dilla, he was in the lab working on his second album. The producer, who has worked with many big names in Hip-Hop, worked with several stars on this disc as well.
In the past, Dilla's worked with A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Slum Village and more. This album doesn't lack in the big named guests department. Common, Busta Rhymes, Dwele, Pharoahe Monch, Madlib and others make guest spots on the record which follows Welcome 2 Detroit, his 2001 effort.
The album will be matched with a tribute DVD, which was put together by B. Kyle. Expect to hear this album hit the shelves in late August. According to some reports, J Dilla has another album on the way.
Depending on whether or not it gets pushed back, expect to hear Jay Love Japan very late in 2006
