Kay Slay Gets Down With NY Heavyweights, Graces Cover of New York Magazine

Mixtape king DJ Kay Slay joins media mogul alongside Rupert Murdoch and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on the cover of New York Magazine's Most Influential New Yorkers issue this week.
The May 15th issue appointed some 200 individuals as the most influential people in New York in 24 categories, which included theater, food, fashion, religion, sports, education and politics. The self-proclaimed "
Drama King" topped the magazine's list of influentials in the music scene, recognizing Slay for his Sirius Satellite show "Streetsweeper Radio," and crediting him for finding rising rap star Papoose.
Jay-Z,
Mariah Carey and BMG chairman Clive Davis were other New Yorkers among the noted influentials in the music category.
