X-Clan Foundation Formed In Honor Of Professor X

In honor and in tribute of his late mentor and group mate Professor X, Brother J has revealed the formation of The X-Clan Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money to serve, support and uplift youth.
As SOHH previously reported,
X-Clan founder Professor X (born Lumumba Carson) died last month at from spinal meningitis at a New York Hospital. He was 49.
The X-Clan Foundation was formed as a project of the charitable organization C.O.R.E. Concepts (Communities Organizing to Reach Excellent Concepts) , which uses the power of the
Internet, community service, and urban music to inspire, rally, inform, and empower teenagers and young adults to achieve self-development and revitalize their communities.
Brother J, who will also become a C.O.R.E. board member with the goal of helping to take the organization national, has created the "Crisis Prevention Program," within the X-Clan foundation which will offer positive options to things like gang recruitment and serve, in the larger picture, as an educational bridge between the generations.
Classes in martial arts, in music theory or in mathematics and history will be offered by trained teachers in each subject, who are affiliated with C.O.R.E.
X-Clan and Brother J will also continue too push Professor X's "Blackwatch Movement" through an online newsletter created by a special Ministry of Information which is made up of a team of on the ground activists and writers who will expose the truth on everything from injustices taking place around the country to information on family, health and the healing arts to the histories of indigenous people.
"I am proud of the evolution of X-Clan for this new millennium beyond the music," said Brother J via a statement. "The collaboration of CORE and the X-Clan Foundation allows us to address self-destruction issues in our youth on a national and international scale.
A share of the proceeds from The X-Clan Foundation will go to Professor X's family and burial costs.
