A-Alikes: Prepare For The Revolution

Already building a huge buzz as the group Nervous Records chose to re-emerge into the rap game with, the A-Alikes have been steady spreading their message on tour with Ghostface and M-1. As members of the Dead Prez affiliated crew The Peoples Army, the powerful political and social beliefs the A-Alikes attempt to convey are intelligently delivered through their music and their new album, I Eat You Eat, which drops on Malcolm X’s birthday, 5/23. The A-Alikes, Ness and K, linked in Tallahassee in the late 90s and quickly laid a course for social change through their music. K explains, “We’re trying to be the bridge, like Malcolm X said; a man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” The album begins with an intro by none other than the great Chuck D and features appearances from Dead Prez and Bilal.
