Obie Trice Heads Back To The Bar For Second Set
After a three-year hiatus, Obie Trice is slated to release his sophomore album, Second Round's On Me, this May.
The Akon-assisted and produced "Snitch" serves at the album's lead single. As previously reported by SOHH.com, the song's video premiered during the April 11 episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
Second Round's features guest spots from Eminem, Detroit rapper Trick Trick, 50 Cent, Nate Dogg and Trey Songz and production from Em, Alchemist, Fredwreck, JR Rotem and 9th Wonder. Trice released his first album, Cheers, back in 2003.
In related news, Trice was shot in the face in what is believed to have been a road rage incident on New Year's Eve (December 31). According to Michigan police, Trice was driving northbound with his girlfriend on Detroit's Lodge Freeway at around 1am when another car approached and shots were fired. Trice was hit in the head, but managed to exit the freeway in the Southfield suburb where his girlfriend flagged police.
