Jay-Z Hangar Tour Takes Off in Atlanta, Lands In Las Vegas

Jay-Z's groundbreaking 24-hour "Hangar Tour," successfully launched Saturday morning (November 18) in Atlanta and wrapped early Sunday morning (Nov. 19) in Las Vegas.
The
rapper hit the road in support of his new album Kingdom Come, along with Memphis Bleek, DJ Green Lantern and MTV's Sway.
Jay-Z and his entourage visited Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las
Vegas.
On each stop, Jay-Z ran through 30-minute sets that included classic
singles like "Jigga My Ni**a," "Hola Hovito," "“Izzo," "Takeover" as well as new songs like "30 Something" and "Show Me What You Got," from Kingdom Come.
At each stop, the energized crowd stayed in sync with Jay-Z, who kicked off the tour at 6:00 am at Atlanta’s Centerstage.
In Atlanta, two grand prize winners were selected prior to the show, taken backstage to one of Jay-Z’s two jets and traveled with the rapper and his entourage on the remaining cities on the “Hangar Tour.”
Long lines awaited the rapper in Philadelphia at the Electric Factory and at Howard University, where over 1,500 cheering fans greeted the rapper.
According to the Associated Press, during a break on the Los Angeles leg of the tour Jay-Z and his entourage arrived early and engaged in a late night celebration, at a hotel bar, where he ordered drinks for everyone and viewed an update of the Michigan-Ohio football game on ESPN.
The entire tour was incident free, except in Los Angeles where Jay-Z's set at The Wiltern was briefly interrupted by a man who jumped on the stage.
The unidentified man was quickly apprehended and thrown out of the concert.
"The Hangar Tour" wrapped up at Club Tao in Las Vegas around 6:00 am early Sunday morning.
Jay-Z delivered a performance to the frenzied crowd that included bonus
songs like "99 Problems," which were not including during his sets in the previous cities.
Jay-Z's comeback album Kingdom Come hits stores Nov. 21.
