Shots Fired, Three Injured At Jermaine Dupri Party

Three people were injured after shots were fired at a party thrown by Jermaine Dupri on Sunday night (July 30).
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, witnesses told police that a fight broke out at the Atlanta Peach Ballroom, after a man tried to steal another man's gold chain. The chain snatcher then pulled out his gun and begun firing after his attempt to lift the chain failed.
Two women received gunshot wounds to their arms and were rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital. The third victim, a man, showed up at an unnamed local hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Authorities did not reveal he names of the victims and nor arrest have been made.
The party was part of a series of weekend events sponsored by Dupri's So So Def Records.
