Former Def Jam Artist Mysonne Released From Prison After 7 Years
Former Violator/Def Jam artist Mysonne was recently (July 5) released from the Orleans Correctional Facility in Albion, NY after serving seven years for a robbery conviction.
Prior to his incarceration, Mysonne built a strong buzz via mixtape appearances as well as guest spots on Violator's The Album: V2.0 compilation, DMX's Great Depression and Mase's Double Up. Despite his numerous guest verses, he never released his debut album, Life Teaches and Reality Bites.
Mysonne hasn't been forgotten. Jae Millz has constantly shouted him out as well as featured him on his mixtapes over the last few years.
