Foxy Brown Headed To Court For Harassing Assistant
Foxy Brown is expected to appear in Jersey City Municipal Court this morning (July 11) to face misdemeanor charges of harassment.
According to the New York Daily News, Foxy's former personal assistant, Rasheeda Ellis, filed a complaint weeks ago claiming that Foxy threatened her via e-mails and phone calls, after she tried to collect money owed to her.
Representatives for both Ellis and Brown could not be reached for comment.
As previously reported, Brown (Born Inga Marchand) is due to stand trial next week (July 17) for an alleged assault on two nail salon employees.
The Brooklyn bred rapper is charged with assaulting two employees of Manhattan's Bloomie Nails in Chelsea in an August 2004 fight over payment for a manicure.
Brown was initially charged with misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment. She has already turned down two misdemeanor plea deals that would have allowed her to avoid jail time.
Foxy has vehemently denied the manicurists allegations.
