50 Cent A Sure 'Bet'

Considering his success on the charts over the past few years, most saw 50 Cent’s silver screen debut as a flop. People were expecting numbers akin to his boss’s blockbuster, 8 Mile and they just weren’t there. But that doesn’t mean people aren’t willing to give Mr. Jackson more opportunities to fatten his already gigantic pockets.Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson attached to star in Live Bet by brothers Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, which has been acquired by Universal Pictures. While Mary Parent and Scott Stuber actually produce the film, both 50 and Chris Lighty will get production credits via the G Unit Films banner.The story is being described as a “character-based heist film.” The flick is based on the betting on illegal racing that goes on in underground clubs in Manhattan. 50 is also slated to star in Irwin Winkler's Home of the Brave and The Dance
