Katt Williams Pimps the Big Screen Again, Signs Album Deal with Cam'ron

Comedian Katt Williams has signed on to play a small town pimp in the upcoming Dreamworks film Norbit.
The popular comic, famed for his signature permed hairstyle and distinctive voice, has taken on the role of Flashy Frank in the film, which stars
Eddie Murphy as a weak man pressured into marrying an overbearing woman only to meet the true love he's never known. Norbit also stars Cuba Gooding Jr., Eddie Griffin, Thandie Newton and Charlie Murphy.
This won't be the first time Williams, who currently stars on
Nick Cannon's hit MTV series "Wild N' Out," has donned a pimp cane. His break out role as a pimp named Money Mike in Friday After Next continues to live on in popular culture, as well as via ringtones he's recorded through his contract with Urbanworld Wireless.
Williams has also voiced the role of
animated character A Pimp Named Slickback on "The Boondocks." Williams and "Boondocks" creator Aaron McGruder are currently working to bring A Pimp Named Slickback to the big screen for an animated film about his life.
Also a fixture in the hip-hop world, Williams has appeared in music videos for Ludacris, Outkast, E-40, Paul Wall and Lil Kim.
SOHH has also learned that Williams recently signed a recording contract with Cam'ron's Diplomat imprint. According to representatives for Williams, his album will be released this summer under Diplomat Records, and there will be comedy components to it although it is a rap album. "Cam officially crowned Katt on the taping of his DVD in Atlanta by givinghim a customized Diplomat chain."
Williams had plans to release a rap and stand-up album It's Pimpin', Pimpin' on Universal Records later this year, There is currently no word on whether that album will be released via this new deal.
Williams also recorded a dis record with The Game last year directed at Young Gunz for the Ghost Unit mixtape after the group called him "a fake ass pimp."
