Anticon News

You either love 'em or you hate 'em, either way they still keeping churning out releases and people keep buying 'em. I’m talking about Anticon. The independent label home to artists such as Alias, Jel, & Sole has announced a swerve of new joints for the upcoming months. First off, Alias & Tarsier and their collabo LP entitled Brookland/Oaklyn. If you know Anticon, chances are you know Alias. Tarsier on the other hand may be a new name to you. Tarsier is actually a member of a cinematronic New York collective called Healamonster & Tarsier. Interestingly enough, most of the music from this collabo was recorded via emails between Alias and Tarsier and the two actually never met face to face until 21 months into the project. Peep the full length dropping on May 23rd. In other Anticon news, WHY? Is hitting the road on a nationwide tour. For info on dates hit up WHY?’s myspace @ http://www.myspace.com/whyanticon.
