Madvillain Takes Form

Fans of the producer, Madlib and the emcee, MF DOOM of the creative duo known as Madvillain will now be immortalized in the form of a new figurine from toymaker, Kidrobot. Kidrobot is an urban designer toy retailer in New York and California. They specialize in artist created toys and imports from Japan, Hong Kong and Europe. Most of their products include limited editions which become collectors items, based on their small scale releases.
The Madvillain figurine will be released January 4th by Stones Throw Records/Kidrobot and will coincide with the upcoming release of Chrome Children Part 2. The figure will stand 8.5 inches tall and come in two colors with big giant fists to knock you out with. The duo released their latest single on the Chrome Children collective
album as well as a live performance on the accompanying DVD.
Kidrobot have also made figurines honoring Q-bert and the
Gorillaz and have commissioned special projects with Shepard Fairey of the Obey Giant crew, Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 and Mike Shinoda of Fort Minor.
