Lupe Fiasco Breaks Out, Featured By AOL Music
Lupe Fiasco has been added to AOL Music's lineup of this summer's Breaker Artists.
Lupe as well as other AOL Music Breaker artists will be showcased on AOLMusic.com during the season and across the AOL Music and Radio Networks via AOL Sessions, in-studio performance series, AIM music interviews, song and music video debuts and heavy rotation on AOL Radio.
Lupe is preparing for the release of his debut album, Food & Liquor, which is slated for release on September 19th. The 24-year-old rapper recently shot a video for his second single "Daydreaming" featuring Jill Scott.
As previously reported, Jay-Z will serve as a co-executive producer on the album.
Other hip-hop artists who have been featured on AOL Breakers include 50 Cent, The Game and Keyshia Cole.
In related news, Fiasco will be featured on the video game soundtrack for "Madden NFL '07" which hits stores on August 22nd. The soundtrack will also feature music from Bishop Lamont, Trae and Glasses Malone, among others.
