Sticky Fingaz Gets Weapons Possession Charge Dropped
Queens rapper/actor Sticky Fingaz recently had a weapons possession charge dropped in a Manhattan Criminal Court.
Last year the former Onyx emcee was facing weapons possession charges after an unlicensed and unregistered pistol was discovered in his room at a New York Hotel.
According to police, a housekeeper found a loaded 9-mm. semiautomatic while cleaning the room Sticky had just vacated at New York's Flatotel. Sticky surrendered on Oct. 18.
The New York Daily News reported that Sticky, (born Kirk Jones) saw the charges dropped in Manhattan Criminal Court earlier this week after they failed to prove that he was the owner of the firearm found under his hotel bed.
Sticky currently stars as the lead in Spike TV's "Blade" series. He reprises the role of the vampire hunter based on the Marvel Comic Book character.
