RZA Collaborates with System of a Down
You may have heard of System of a Down. The successful rock band has been making alternative chart toppers for years. Although few would concider them for a Hip-Hop record, one of the group members is set to be on one of Hip-Hop's most anticipated albums of the year.
System bassist Shavo Odadjian recently spoke to MTV about a collabo that will rock the Hip-Hop world. The group has apparently been collaborating with Shaolin's finest The Wu-Tang Clan.
"We've been messing around in the studio, and I worked on a track that will be on the next Raekwon record, [Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2,]" he claimed.
The Wu collabos don't stop there.
"With RZA, we have become good friends, and we're in the studio together all the time. There's a collaboration with the GZA which will be coming out soon, but we're not sure when. We've been working on it the last four months and will start preproduction in Los Angeles [in the fall]" he added.
On a related note The Wu-Tang are also gearing up for one of Hip-Hop's biggest shows of the Summer in Rock The Bells. The crew will rock alongside Mos Def, De La Soul, Living Legends, Talib Kweli and many more in the festival that has grown rapidly in the past couple of years.
