Yung Joc, DJ Khaled, Ice Cube, and DJ Quik Among 6/6/06 Releases

West Coast pioneering producer and rapper DJ Quik joins fellow L.A. veteran Ice Cube as well as newcomers Yung Joc and DJ Khaled in dropping new releases this hip-hop filled Super Tuesday (June 6th).
Quik's Greatest Hits Live was recorded this February when he performed his classic material for three sold out
shows at L.A.'s Sunset Blvd. House of Blues. In addition to being backed by a 12-piece band, Quik's House of Blues sets featured guest appearances by Cypress Hill's B-Real, as well as Nate Dogg and Chingy, who appear on his newest release.
Ice Cube's 6/6 release Laugh Now, Cry Later marks his first solo album in seven years. The album is being released on Cube's label Da Lench Mob Records. The album's first single "Why We Thugs" was produced by Scott Storch. Lil Jon, Green Lantern and Swizz Beatz also produced material for Laugh Now, Cry Later.
It's a big Super Tuesday for
Yung Joc as well. His debut New Joc City, released through Bad Boy/Atlantic and DJ Khaled's album Listen (Koch) mark first time major commercial releases for both artists. Dipset fam Purple City also release their Purple Album through Koch today.
