Aftermath's Newest Find

Aftermath is a Hip-Hop powerhouse. Anytime Dr. Dre, Eminem and 50 Cent are linked, it manages to be a huge deal in the world of rap. The label not only has the aforementioned stars, but also contains several other big names in rap including Busta Rhymes, and The Game. The label is on a roll. Becoming Aftermath's newest signee, R&B singer Dion hopes to keep it that way. Dion is the protege of producer Hi-Tek who is known for his work as a producer with the likes of D12, Talib Kweli, and G-Unit. Rap fans have already heard the singer on the chorus to I'm Runnin' off of The Game's debut album. After singing various other hooks for Dre and others, the singer became the newest member of the Aftermath family. Hi-Tek recently spoke to many people about Dion, who he feels is bringing back the soul of a Marvin Gaye. He also told Billboard that he isn't corny like many other crooners around. Currently, Dion is in the lab working towards his debut‘s release. He’s already boasting production from Dr. Dre and Hi-Tek among others. No release date has been finalized as of yet but expect to hear the singer on many more songs before the year is over.
