News

Jurrasic 5 made their rounds through the underground and mainstream Hip-Hop circuits. After mini-hits that included tracks from their many critically acclaimed albums, the group's spawned many solo careers. Chali 2na and the rest of the crew seem poised for success. One of the leaders of the group is up to bat first. Cut Chemist, the legendary producer and DJ of J5 is cooking up a debut with some help from fellow underground greats. Chemist is responsible for the J5 sound, but he's also known as a DJ in Ozomatli, the eclectic Grammy Award winning band. He's also worked on various projects for others including Blackalicious, Lyrics Born and more. His debut The Audience's Listening marks Cut's first dive into the solo world, but he's not alone for the entire album. Expect guest spots from the likes of Mr. Lif and other J5 members. The album has a tentative release date for early July. In other news, Fabolous is headed to the Myspace world. He's got an official MySpace freestyle, bragging about how he gets 100 friends a minute and dissing fake Fabolous page makers. Furthermore, Loso posted his reply to Mase's various shots. If one hasn't already peeped the track through mixtapes, fans can catch it on his page. On the diss track, F-A-B attacks Mase by clowning on Murda's old hit with Mya for the Rugrats soundtrack. He also claims Diddy is his Daddy and taunts the rapper over an old 50 Cent track
