Rakim and The Rza "Get Up" For Ecko Video Game In-Store

Rakim, The RZA, and clothing designer Marc Ecko will be meeting fans and signing autographs at New York's Virgin Megastore in Times Square to promote the new video game "Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure" this month.
The award-winning "Getting Up" is the brain child of Ecko, the creator of Ecko Unlimited clothing and Complex Magazine, and features The RZA as the voice of the character "Stake and
Talib Kweli as lead character Trane.
This innovative video game, which is the first to authentically capture the art and culture of graffiti, also features 65 legendary graffiti artists and the voice talents of Diddy,
Rosario Dawson and Charlie Murphy, among others.
Meanwhile, Rakim is featured alongside Kweli on "Getting Up Anthem: Part 1," an exclusive track on
the game's soundtrack. The set also includes licensed classics and original music from the Notorious B.I.G., System of a Down and Pharoahe Monch.
In related news,
MTV Films recently acquired the rights to "Getting Up" and plans for a feature film based on the video game are in the works.
Ecko, The RZA and Rakim are scheduled to appear at the Virgin Megastore, 1540 Broadway in New York City, from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 16.
